Family members and friends are welcomed to visit hospital patients during visiting hours if the patient wishes visitors and the patient's care team permits visitors. But please remember, patients are in the hospital because they need to rest and recover and should be given every chance to do that.
Visiting hours are from 7am until 8pm, and one visitor at a time is allowed in adult patients' rooms. Exceptions may be granted by the nursing staff depending on the condition of the patient.
In some areas of the hospital, there may be two patients to a room. Visitors are asked to be respectful of the other patient in the room when visiting a loved one or friend.
All cell phones should be turned off while visitors are in the hospital because they may impact the operation of sophisticated medical equipment.
Consideration for special visits beyond visiting hours may be granted on a patient by patient basis.
The hospital gift shop is open from 9am - 4pm, and 6-8pm on weekdays, and from noon to 4pm on weekends. A variety of flowers, gifts and sundries are available.
