		Our Credo ...

	Lodi Memorial Hospital is always eager to train and orient new volunteers in a variety of roles throughout the hospital. For those considering a volunteer position, these are some of the benefits:

Finding personal fulfillment that can come from serving others; Becoming involved with an organization that helps both individuals and the community; Making new friends; Gaining knowledge about health; and Complimentary flu shots, meals and much more.

	The hospital offers volunteers the opportunity to work in a variety of areas within the hospital and beyond, including its clinics and a number of community services. Volunteers receive a comprehensive orientation/training period in specific areas of interest, including:

Gift Shop Adult Day Care Courtesy Desk Business Services Central Supply TCU Activities Pharmacy Medical Records Aquatic Therapy Patient Advocate Cardiac Care Read to Children at Pediatric Clinic

	To become a volunteer, the hospital asks potential volunteers to:

Commit to four hours a week for at least a six-month period Sign a confidentiality agreement Complete a safety training Complete a general-hospital and department-specific orientation Complete a volunteer application
