First aid to the injured is not only a prerequisite for successful further treatment, but often also saves a human life. There are situations when simple actions, performed in time and correctly, save lives. That is why it is important that everyone knows how to correctly and quickly provide first aid (pre-medical) to those who need it. At times you have to help yourself (self-help).

At the course first emergency (pre-medical) care Kiev (basic) you will get the knowledge and skills:

  • Basic life support: (assessing the safety of the scene, evaluation of signs of life, ensuring patency of airways unconscious victim, the algorithm for calling an emergency (ambulance) medical team, cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
  • Transferring the victim to a stable position;
  • Providing help for drowning;
  • Safe use of AZD (Automatic External Defibrillators)
  • Algorithm of recognition and first aid for acute myocardial infarction and stenocardia, stroke (acute violation of cerebral circulation);
  • Care for injuries (bone fractures, dislocations, contusions of soft tissues);
  • Stop critical bleeding (compression bandages and tourniquets)
  • Treat high and low temperature injuries (burns, frostbite);
  • Care for convulsions and acute poisonings.

We show educational films, give lectures, use modern dummies and other educational equipment, plaster casts, real bandages, tourniquets, gloves and other medical supplies during the training.

Attention! During the training we do not show you strictly medical manipulations (injections) and do not give you recommendations about medicamentous treatment (this is a competence of medical specialists)! Emergency course in Kiev is designed for adult participants (from 16 years) with no basic medical education.

Given the duration and content of this course, persons under the age of 16 cannot take part in it (there is another program for adolescents, which corresponds to their age and the ability to absorb the material).

Have taken the course before or know the sequence of resuscitation activities (according to the recommendations of the European Resuscitation Council).
