Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is a specialized course that emphasizes the importance of team dynamics and quality communication, a systematic approach to medical and non-visceral care after spontaneous circulatory recovery. It also covers airway management and pharmacotherapy. In this course, participants learn practical skills in both large and small group and assessment stations through the implementation of simulated thematic clinical scenarios.

ACLS is designed for healthcare professionals who directly perform or participate in resuscitation activities and/or provide care to patients with acute cardiovascular pathology: emergency and urgent care team personnel, intensive care and intensive care units, cardiologists, neurologists, internists, emergency room physicians, and the like. The course will also be useful for interns and advanced medical students.

Certified American Heart Association course, officially held! The course is conducted by experienced certified ACLS instructors of the Polish International Training Center American Heart Association, Special Training Center.

Course content:

  • Basic life support activities: effective external cardiac massage, vikoristannya Ambu bag with mask, and automatic external defibrillator (AED)
  • Recognition and emergency treatment of respiratory and circulatory arrest
  • Recognition and emergency treatment of conditions leading to circulatory arrest
  • Airway management
  • Acute coronary syndrome
  • Acute cerebral circulatory disorders
  • Recognition and emergency care for threatening cardiac rhythm and conduction abnormalities
  • Effective work as a member and leader of the resuscitation team
  • Effective work of the resuscitation team
  • Protocols, standards, treatment regimens
